The Valerie Dress is named after my Grandmother Val. It was designed exclusively in collaboration with Isabel Spearman for the Daily Dress Edit pop-up and is a variation on The Breton Girl dress from the Provence collection and features a delicate broderie anglaise lace collar. The dress comes with a detachable belt so that the piece can be worn relaxed or cinched in at the waist.
All of my designs are named after someone special in my life and this was no exception. This dress is the first in a new collection titled 'British Isles’ (coming soon), where inspiration has come from vintage Laura Ashley, the expansive British countryside and a celebration of British craft. All of the collections I design are not trend-led, but focus on destinations that are close to my heart. The designs are slow-fashion pieces that are timeless.
Using deadstock always and natural fibres wherever possible, along with the model of making-to-order, eliminates waste and results in a romantic notion of allowing these beautiful, overproduced textiles to live their full potential as forever pieces in your wardrobe. Voyager garments are made by me, cherished by you and this is why.
Styling tips: I have designed the dress to compliment my Painter's Blouses which can be styled underneath the item. She is the perfect dress for any British Summertime event and ideal for transitional dressing when styled with my Painter's Blouse.
Sizing: the dress comes in sizes S/M or M/L - please check measurements below for correct fit before purchase. They are designed with comfort and versatility in mind and have no constricting zips, so you can simply pull overhead. As all items are made-to-order in fabrics that cannot be re-sourced, please take note of sizing when ordering. The customer is liable for returns postage, should the garment not fit. If you feel changes need to be made to the measurements please contact Alice via email alice@voyagerlondon.co.uk and I will do my best to accommodate.

Composition: 100% linen/visc mix, 100% cotton collar, lining & belt.
Wash care: Turn inside out, hand wash or machine wash with care on cool (30°C) with similar colours. Hang-dry using the hanging loops inside skirt to take the weight, do not tumble dry. Iron on medium if required. Some shrinkage/fading may occur with natural fibres.
